Real-Time Insight. Zero Guesswork. Monitoring Made Smart.
In today’s high-throughput cinema environments, constant performance monitoring is no longer a luxury—it’s a necessity. Projection quality, luminance uniformity, audio integrity, and system alignment all require consistent oversight to ensure compliance, reduce downtime, and maintain a flawless moviegoing experience. HSG Labs’ suite of monitoring solutions transforms how exhibitors, technical managers, and integrators track performance—both inside the theatre and from a central operations hub.

HSG 4P leads the way in comprehensive screen monitoring. Installed in premium cinema environments, it captures daily diagnostic data—such as 144-point light uniformity, intra-frame and sequential contrast, and 2D/3D focus alignment. All readings are automatically logged and can be sent to a central Network Operations Centre (NOC) or Theatre Management System (TMS), allowing teams to proactively monitor projection quality across locations. For example, if an image convergence issue arises in a dual-projection PLF theatre, the Ultimate’s real-time data allows remote managers to identify and escalate the issue before it affects audience experience.

HSG 4A extend this remote monitoring capability into operational alignment. Once installed, these systems continuously check projector zoom, lens shift, and focus parameters—automatically adjusting them when needed and sending alerts if manual intervention is required. Technical supervisors can receive SNMP-based alerts when drift occurs, or when convergence starts to fall outside the defined threshold. This means fewer service calls, faster response times, and significantly less disruption to screening schedules.

HSG Optimizer is purpose-built for automated, non-intrusive monitoring across regular and premium auditoriums. It continuously checks for brightness levels, hotspot movement, and projector focus using its back-wall-mounted sensor system. On the audio side, it performs real-time spectral analysis of every channel and verifies audio output compliance—essential for immersive setups like Dolby Atmos™. If volume drops, a channel malfunctions, or brightness levels fall below DCI standards, the Optimizer triggers alerts through the TMS or NOC platform. This allows exhibitors to monitor dozens of screens without having to manually test each one, freeing up resources while ensuring no screen goes unchecked.
